There is a native Android app. There is no native app for iPhone and iPad, but the webmail is an installable web app: from the browser it can be added to the home screen and then opens in its own window, without the browser bar.

Yes, but external access via IMAP and POP is turned off by default on each mailbox, for security. The administrator enables it account by account in the admin panel.
Setup is manual, using the servers and ports shown in the panel. There is no automatic account detection.
Yes, measured per hour: about 500 messages or 1,000 recipients per account each hour. It is a protection against abuse, and the limit can be adjusted by the administration according to the company's needs.
The mailbox can be used immediately after the administrator creates it, both in the webmail and in the app.
Yes. The archive is kept in standard IMAP format, with no lock-in: by enabling external access, the company can download everything with any email client and take it along. Users export their own contacts as vCard, through the webmail.
There is currently no button that generates a single file with the entire mailbox — the way out is through IMAP itself.
